May, June, and September: the sweet spot
These months get the warm, golden light couples picture without the peak-July heat or the August crowds. Venues are easier to book, prices sit below high-season peaks, and evenings are still warm enough for an outdoor reception well past midnight.
September in particular is a favorite among planners: the sea is at its warmest, the light turns amber earlier in the evening, and the island's own summer crowds have mostly gone home.
July and August: full island, full price
This is when Mallorca is at its most crowded and most expensive, both for venues and for flights. It's also when many event fincas hit their highest per-night rates and require the longest minimum stays. If your guest list is flying in from the East Coast anyway, shoulder season gets you the same direct flights for less.
Off-season: October through April
Genuinely underrated. Several of the island's fincas open their event calendars specifically for this window at meaningfully lower rates, and the Tramuntana mountains look their best under softer winter light. The tradeoff is real: outdoor ceremonies carry more weather risk, and you'll want a venue with a proper indoor rain plan, not an afterthought tent.
