Why it still matters
Mallorca's wedding season runs dry more often than not, but even a small chance of rain deserves a real plan, not a folded-up tent stashed in a shed. The venues worth booking treat their indoor alternative as a genuine second setting, not an afterthought.
What a good rain plan looks like
The strongest options are venues with a distinct, fully finished indoor space, a vaulted cellar, a converted barn, a covered terrace, that doesn't feel like a downgrade from the outdoor setting. Ask specifically to see the rain-plan space during a site visit, not just photos of the primary outdoor area.
The questions worth asking before you book
Is the indoor backup included in the base rental, or does it carry an extra fee? Can the full guest count fit comfortably indoors, or does the plan assume a smaller crowd? And how late can the decision be made, some venues need a call by early morning, others allow a same-hour pivot.
